Dewey DuFour, ALA, NCARB, NT, Project Architect

Dewey can offer within the building design community a comprehensive knowledge base that is two-fold. He possesses the specific working knowledge of the physical structure of a design and has a broad base knowledge of overall systems to make a design complete.  With undergraduate and master degrees from the College of Engineering Technology (Civil/Structural Design) and College of Architectural Design respectively from the University of Houston in Texas plus over 30 years of experience, Dewey brings a vast working knowledge of the technical and appealing proficiency of the built environment to MD. He believes that the best design evolves from the thorough understanding of the wants and needs of a client; the functional use and purpose of a facility; context and environment that surrounds the design; this impacts the conceptional design coupled with the experience within and outside the design.

Dewey enjoys listening to and attempting to play music, cycling, camping, fishing, and enjoying the outdoor environment.
