Andrea Skinner

Interior Design

RID, NCIDQ

Before becoming an Interior Designer for MDA, Andrea graduated from Indiana State University with a Bachelor’s in Interior Architecture Design and a Minor in Fine Arts. Her career has encompassed a wide range of design experience including healthcare, higher education, tenant improvement, offices, multi-family, retail and restaurant, veterinary hospitals, and more. She remains involved in the interior design industry by serving on the IIDA board, IIDA committees, mentoring senior thesis projects, and serving on the Ball State University Advisory Board for their interior design program.

Andrea is one of the creatives behind developing the well-designed veterinary hospitals and human healthcare spaces of the firm's portfolio. She works closely with clients and our design team to develop functional, safe, and beautiful spaces. Andrea sees projects from conception to the end of construction as either a design team member or Project manager.

When she’s not in the office, Andrea can typically be found outdoors with family, her son, Harrison, and spunky standard poodle, Gary, or enjoying her passion for aerial silks and yoga.
