Adela Groth

Vice President of Operations | Architect

AIA, Fear Free Certified Professional

Adela is a licensed architect with a Master of Architecture degree from Ball State University. She started working for MDA on the local projects team where she gained experience with a wide variety of project types including diagnostic laboratories, breweries, fitness centers, physical therapy, and more. After a few years, her involvement with animal healthcare projects flourished and she began managing several specialty hospitals with complete imaging and oncology treatment capabilities.

As current Vice President of Operations, Adela oversees all Indianapolis studio projects in the design phase. She assists designers and architects with solving complex design and code challenges to ensure projects move forward smoothly. She also leads the exterior conceptual design and supports the development of these concepts as they are translated into final construction drawings.

Adela’s favorite pastime is enjoying the outdoors - hiking, biking, camping, canoeing, or any other opportunity to be in nature. She’s passionate about exploring through food, whether that’s cooking farm-to-table from her garden or trying out the newest experimental menu in town.
