“I have some big news to share regarding my professional journey. After a career of forty-two years as an architect and principal at Architectural Werks, Inc. and MD Architects, I am excited to announce that I will be retiring from practice on April 10, 2025.
It has been an amazing journey, and I am sincerely grateful for the trust, support, and friendships we have shared over these many years. I want to assure you that the transition process is a top priority for me, and I’m working closely with our entire management team to ensure a seamless handover of responsibilities. I know I leave you in good hands and many of you are already familiar with Franklin Ng, AIA, Partner, and Jennifer Phang, AIA, and Vice President of Design Operations. Combined, Franklin and Jennifer possess 55 years of professional experience and knowledge. Along with MD Architects ‘dedicated team of architects and interior designers, we are committed to continuing the high level of service and commitment you have come to expect and rely on. I ask that you not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need assistance during this transition period. I am here to ensure a smooth changeover and to address any concerns.
As I step into retirement, I’m filled with such gratitude for the meaningful connections and experiences I’ve had. I have learned much from each of you and will miss the collaboration and challenges of the projects we have worked on together. However, I am excited about the next chapter in my life and the opportunities that lie ahead.
