Mike Evertsen

Architecture

Mike graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Design Studies and Ball State University with a Master of Architecture degree. Simultaneously, he runs multiple MDA projects from the construction administration phases to the closeout and from schematic design to project completion. Mike is often the go-to person coordinating with contractors and consultants to ensure buildings are on track with our design and intent.

When Mike is off the clock, you can find him cultivating his garden and farm. He's proud to say that his greatest accomplishment is his family – his wife of 25+ years, four daughters, granddaughter, and godson. They, as well as his passion for architecture, serve as his steady motivation each day. Design is long embedded in his family and history with his father and grandfather helping build the last commercial Frank Lloyd Wright design (Grady Gammage Memorial Auditorium – ASU).

Mike's Favorite Quote

“I took the one (road) less traveled by, and it has made all the difference.”
