Janet is a graduate of Washington State University and began her career in Portland, Oregon before moving back to the Seattle area. Her professional work started in 1979 focusing on inpatient hospital design and retirement housing until she shifted to outpatient clinics and surgery centers in 1995. Janet's experience now encompasses a broad range of project types that also include animal care facilities, numerous small animal general hospitals and veterinary practices.

In addition to overseeing our quality control processes within the firm, Janet directs our programming, design, and construction administration teams within the human healthcare field.

Outside of the office, Janet enjoys traveling, recreational pickleball, and bicycle tours (including a seven-day 210-mile ride through the Czech Republic).
