Greenfield-Hancock Animal Management

Overview

This animal shelter project was designed for the City of Greenfield’s Animal Management Department. The ground-up project consisted of a one-story building that included animal in-take rooms, drive-thru sallyport, separate dog and cat adoption holding rooms, treatment area, exterior play areas for dogs and their new possible owners, a 200 SF horse barn, and on-property chicken coup.

Interior design inspiration comes from the client requesting a fun atmosphere with bright colors and a pop-art theme, while also keeping the finishes sensible and easy to clean. This space features plenty of mechanical exhaust and sound control to manage the noise of barking dogs.
