Community Health Center of Snohomish County

Overview

The Community Health Center of Snohomish County’s administration building project began as a temporary, single-story modular building. However, it became apparent quickly that they’d need more space for their training facility to serve other expanding departments, which would lead to their new ground-up two-story facility.

The uniquely designed 6,943 square foot triangle building consists of a training room with an attached exam room for the new medical staff. A ten-foot second-story overhang was strategically integrated to provide additional square footage to adapt to the site restrictions, while dually supporting parking needs. Employees can also enjoy a fully enclosed courtyard that’s shared between the two administrative buildings.

The new CHC of the Snohomish County admin building mimics the existing neighboring facilities built 20+ years earlier, allowing all buildings to appear as one cohesive facility.
