Alabama Orthopedic Center Addition

Approximately 78,000 SF—Mobile, AL

This three-story medical office building was designed to replicate characteristics and materials from the existing adjacent Springhill Hospital, utilizing EIFS and metal roofs.  The facility consists of an ambulatory surgery center on the first floor and features separate entry and exit discharge.  Clinical spaces are located on the second floor and rehabilitation and administrative offices are on the third.

Fishers Medical Office Plaza, LLC

Approximately 25,200 SF—Fishers, IN

This newly built medical office building on Allisonville Road in Fishers, IN was contracted for design of the exterior shell including the full design of common area and lobby.  The remaining tenant suites were under individual contracts.  MDA was involved with either the design and documentation of the tenant spaces or coordination with other design firms in adhering to the building stands.  The biggest obstacle and success was designing a two-story, 25,000+ square footage tenant building that had the similar appearance and feeling as the owner’s adjacent one-story building.
